TWELFTH ADMISSION NOTICE

Candidates willing to take admission in B.A. (General) Course may appear a Test in English to be conducted by the college on 18.08.2012 (Saturday) at 11-30 a.m. Room No. 9. Students who passed H.S. or equivalent examination in 2012/2011, having first language other than Bengali/English and obtained less than 50% in English are eligible to appear at the test. They have to bring H.S. marksheet in original in order to appear at the test. Only five students may be admitted depending upon the performance at the test. The test will be on ‘unseen’ topics and of one hour duration. Questions will be of H.S. standard. Mobile phones are not allowed in the Examination Hall.

Admission in First Year B. A./ B. Sc. Courses

for the Academic Session 2012-13

Applications are invited online from eligible candidates for admission against a few seats lying vacant in the following subjects and categories.

This is to be noted very carefully that the number of vacancies in most of the cases is one/two except in Hindi and Economics Honours.

Eligibility criteria for application remain same as was in Phase-I except for Hindi Honours Course. General Category Candidates passed from any board recognized by Calcutta University may now apply in Hindi Honours Course.

Application Fee

Application Fee is Rs 100/- per submission. Fees will be collected between 11 am and 2 pm only at the college counter in cash on production of appropriate challan.

An application will become valid only after deposition of Application Fee
